Job Description:
Position Overview:
*We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a respected healthcare practice in Opelousas, LA. 
*The physician will provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with acute and chronic neurological disorders in both outpatient and inpatient clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Patient Care: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with central and peripheral nervous system conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, and headaches.
• Diagnostic Testing: Perform and interpret diagnostic neurological studies, including EEGs, EMGs, and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) studies.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized, evidence-based management plans incorporating medication management, physical therapy, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Clinical Collaboration: Work closely with primary care physicians, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and mid-level clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain precise, timely medical record documentation in compliance with institutional SOPs, HIPAA, and regulatory healthcare standards.

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
