Job Description

Salary: $80,400 - 316,300 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and large-scale data integration.
• We need at least 3 years of experience with Palantir Foundry, including building data pipelines, managing datasets, and deploying applications in Palantir Foundry and/or Palantir Gotham.
• We need at least 3 years of experience with prompt engineering and applied AI techniques within Palantir, including AIP, model deployment, and feature engineering.
• We need at least 5 years of experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We need at least 5 years of experience using Python, PySpark, or Java.
• We need a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years). An associates degree is acceptable with a minimum of 8 years of work experience.
• We need strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly and credibly to executive stakeholders.
• We need the ability to build rapport quickly and represent the team professionally with clients.
• We need the ability to write clear, concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• We need the ability to present updates, trade-offs, and recommendations to executives while tailoring the message to the audience.
• Nice to have: full-stack and front-end development experience.
• Nice to have: Palantir certifications in Foundry, Gotham, or AIP.
• Nice to have: consulting or client-facing experience.
• Nice to have: experience with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines, including Git, GitHub/GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Nice to have: experience building solutions with large language models.
• Nice to have: demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.

• We partner with engineers, program managers, and domain specialists to design, build, and support client-facing applications.
• We gather requirements, analyze data and workflows, and define a delivery roadmap from prototype through scaled deployment.
• We prototype quickly, validate with users, and iterate rapidly based on feedback and operational results.
• We deliver production-grade pipelines and applications that turn client data into operational workflows and decision support.
• We write clear requirements, share progress with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive work through to release.
• We work on high-priority client challenges across areas such as battlefield operations, supply chains, benefits programs, and broader government operations.
• We deploy Palantir software and build tailored solutions as part of a small team of engineers, domain experts, and Deployment Strategists.
• Travel may be required, with the amount varying from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
