Salary: $99,500 - 127,500 per year Requirements:

• Experience developing renewable energy projects in the MISO or PJM regions
• At least 2 years of project development experience, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or real estate development in the MISO or PJM regions
• Bachelors degree required
• Permitting expertise preferred
• Project management skills, including identifying and resolving potential project issues and prioritizing critical-path tasks
• General understanding of renewable energy market trends and their impact on solar project development
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to a changing environment, and manage multiple priorities
• Customer-focused approach, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and sound judgment
• Strong communication, project planning and execution, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

• Identify and assess suitable sites, and structure and negotiate commercial transactions with landowners
• Communicate with landowners, community leaders, and environmental organizations throughout project development
• Manage solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from feasibility through the start of construction
• Oversee zoning, environmental, permitting, land-rights entitlement, and compliance processes
• Engage, manage, and direct third-party consultants and development partners
• Develop viable, economically sustainable solar and BESS projects, both new and existing
• Define project scopes of work and keep projects on schedule and within budget
• Track renewable energy opportunities and industry trends in the United States, including their effects on solar development and competitiveness for customers
